Contact your councillor

Find your local councillor and let them know the cycling issues you care about and the problems you face on a day-to-day basis.

Respond to consultations

Read and respond to local consultations to ensure your views are represented in plans. Comment on and contribute to a Cyclox response.

Report a road traffic incident

If you’ve been involved in a road traffic collision, or think you might have witnessed an offence on the roads, report it to Thames Vally Police using their simple online tool.

Fix My Street

Reporting problems is a first step towards making road and path maintenance a priority. Oxfordshire County Council have integrated Fix My Street with their reporting system. Reporting increases the likelihood of repair.

Report illegal parking

Since November 2021, Oxfordshire County Council enforce parking under the Traffic Management Act 2004. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued to vehicles observed parked in breach of a restriction, which includes parking in a cycle lane.

Donate a bike

Sanctuary Wheels launched in 2022 and will provide free, refurbished bikes and tuition for hundreds of refugees across Oxfordshire.

Ready Set Go is a collaborative campaign run by Oxford Hub that ensures every child in Oxford can learn to ride a bike. Since 2020, they have successfully supported 103 children and parents to access bikes.

The Claudia Charter

Encourage your workplace or school to sign The Claudia Charter and make a commitment to safer cycling in Oxford.

Involve your colleagues

Invite us to come and talk at your workplace. We can offer advice to your bike user group, or give you tips to help set one up.
