Much day-to-day work, such as payroll and dealing with invoices, is done by our staff or contracted out. One of our staff members also takes the lead on fundraising.\n<br ><br >\nThe treasurer\u2019s role is a voluntary one but reasonable expenses are covered. You will also have the opportunity to shape the future of a vibrant, growing charity.\n<br ><br >\nYou do not need to be an accountant but must have a reasonable grasp of figures. You would normally also become a trustee and attend around 10 board meetings a year, either in person or online.
