Oxford traffic filters: what do they mean for me?

Wednesday 22 May | 19.30 | Northgate Community Room, St Michael in the Northgate, Cornmarket Street, Oxford

From November there will be six traffic filters around Oxford to limit private vehicle access to the city and speed up buses. Zuhura Plummer, from Oxfordshire Liveable Streets, will give a jargon-free presentation about the context for this decision and the practical issues for residents.
– What is the politics of this decision and how could it change car use?
– How can I apply for passes to get through the filters?
– Who has exemptions?
There will be a big map and plenty of time for questions.

Kidical Mass Oxford

Kidical Mass is a worldwide movement enabling children to cycle safely in groups on the streets of their towns and cities.

Oxford’s first Kidical Mass ride took place in the summer of 2022 with 100 participants.

Cyclox volunteers plan the routes and keep children safe. It’s a fun activity with a serious message about children’s independence, safe streets and active travel.

Get in touch via kidicalmass@cyclox.org if you’d like to join in.
